This is me falling asleep while Mom and Grandma Cary do my respiratory patterning, it makes me feel so relaxed! I didn't like it at first but now I love it!
It's so nice seeing Micah enjoying one form of his patterning!! He looks so sweet and relaxed in these photos. I wish someone would pattern me like that! I could use a good nap! By the way, this was always Audriana's favorite part of her program.
Hello! I found your site because I was looking for respiratory patterning. My husband and I attended the Institutes in December, but we have not been able to take Dillon in for an appointment yet. When did you start the Institutes program? Is it working for you? We have only been doing a home program for 75 days and have seen some improvement with his vision, trying to hold his head, and just being more alert. His breathing is still very bad, though.
Micah is a beautiful little boy! Nice to "meet" you! Tiffany
Hello again, Thanks for visiting our blog! It is nice to find other moms of such special children! We really want to get Dillon evaluated by the institutes, we are trying to see if the insurance will help cover any of the cost. Plus I am praying God will provide help so I COULD do the things. All of our family live out of state and our church family is all about 40 minutes from us so right now I would have no idea how I would be able to do patterning and respiratory patterning. Plus with our other baby, I am trying to teach him to read and all so I really need some help before we can do it. I am applying for day nursing care.
How did you get people to help, is it a lot of family?
Have you attended the lecture series? We are attending the one in March.
I found this site and thought you might like to look at it too http://www.osit.no/default.htm It is another boy who is on the program. My email address is hediedforus1015@aol.com rather than using blogger to chat! :-) Have a great day! Tiffany
Hi, I just came across this website i was touched by it... Micah is very cute little kid and i know he will be fine one day. Stephanie is a great mom and I pray for her and Micah. Stephanie you are the best! Keep it up!
HI, my son (21 today) was a Cerebral palsied when he was 17 months old and we did the intensive home program of the institutes. It took us 54 months of program to get him fully graduation. IAHP it's the best I've known and heard of! All the dificulties are now just memories in our life, and can only tell you whatever the effort it takes from one to have our love one safe and sane is much well worth! I congratulate you for having the courage to take the health of your baby Micah in your own hands (sorry for my english) Alfonso Rivera (Mexico)
